World Pultrusion Conference 2020

With more than 120 participants from a total of 21 European and non-European countries like Australlia, India, Mexico and USA the 15th World Pultrusion Conference, that took place in Antwerp from 27 to 28 February, was once more a very succesful event.

The conference is organised by the European Pultrusion Technology Association and takes place every two years in a European country that plays a significant role in the pultrusion industry. The EPTA was founded in 1989 and is under the umbrella of the AVK, the German composites association. Pultrusion is an automated, so-called continuous process used in the area of composites/fibre reinforced plastics – especially for manufacturing profiles, which are used in a wide variety of applications.

The participants were able to find out more about the latest developments in the pultrusion industry. More than 20 international speakers reported about market developments in Europe and the USA, about innovative raw material solutions and new technologies and applications. The next World Pultrusion Conference will take place in 2022, once again during the week before the JEC World Show in Paris.
